There Are Four Styles of Login Pages

To establish a connection to your account for the first time on the computer, first click on the Standard Login link on our website, type in the Company Login Name, Username and Password then click Login or if you want to go to create a List Login, click on the Create List Login link.

1. The Standard Login page requires the company login name,username and password to login. This login page style is good for companies that have individual computers for each employee. Check the box to remember the company login name and employee name for auto-fill text. Click on the Create Windows Shortcut link to save the file to the computer's desktop. A shortcut Icon will give individuals quick access to the login page.

2. The List Login page is used to select the employee's name from the drop down list then typing in the password to login quicker into the time card, thus illiminating having to type in the employee's name.

To access the List Login page for the first time, you will need to click on the Standard Login link, type in your company login name, username and password, then click on the Create List Login link. . After you have accessed created the List Login page, save the List Login page as a shortcut to the desktop for quick access to the login page of your choice. Click on the Create Windows Shortcut link to save the file to the computer's desktop. A shortcut Icon will give individuals quick access to the login page.

3. The Quick Punch page is used to select the employee's name from the drop down list then typing in the password and click on the Clock In/Out button to register the time punch into the employee's time card without having to login into the individual time card, thus saving time at the key board. Employees can still have access to view their time card by clicking on the List Login or Standard Login links to login into their time card. (Companies using the multiple project time tracking feature will not have the Quick Punch available.)

**The Quick Punch page is only available for companies that do not use the Project clock in buttons for tracking time on different projects

Click on the Create Windows Shortcut link to save the file to the computer's desktop. A shortcut Icon will give individuals quick access to the login page.

4. The Group In/Out time punch page is used with no passwords for quicker time punches. The Group Login page is great for a dedicated computer used for all of the employee's to clock in and out. Save the List Login page as a shortcut to the desktop for quick access to the login page of your choice. Limit access to this program by setting up the Location Access settings to restrict access to the office computer only by downloading the Easy Time Clock browser and set it for the Group In/Out page only. Then the employees can access the page quickly from the desktop. This page is great for touch screen monitors.

To access the Group In/Out login page is located in the List Login employee name drop down menu. From the List Login page the employee's name drop down list, select Group In/Out and click Login.


How to create a Shortcut to your desktop:

Login

1. Click on "Standard Login" link from our website at www.EasyTimeClock.com.

2. You will see a field for your Company Login Name, Employee Name and password. If you do not see the name pre-filled, type in the information required. If you receive an error message and you are unable to login, it is most likely a typo. Spelling and spacing is very important. The password is case sensitive. (If you want to verify your Company Login or password, email services@easytimeclock.com or call customer service at (405) 314-2436.)

3. Check the box to Remember Company Login and Remember Employee Name.(Important)

4. If your company login name is pre-filled skip step 5 & 6 and to go step 7.

5. Click the "Login" button.

6. Click on the "Log Out" link in the upper right hand corner.

7. Click on the Create Windows Shortcut link.

8. Save the file to your computer's desktop. (Do not change the file name.)

9. Close browser.

10. Click on the Icon to test login page.
***If you would like to change the Icon Name, right click on the Icon and rename it.

Congratulations, you have just completed adding a shortcut to your desktop. Each time you want to quickly clock in or out, just click on the ICON to quickly get to your login page.


Create Shortcuts Manually

**Quick easy method is to select the login style you want then highlight with your mouse and right click to copy the whole "http://" address from the browser. Minimize your screens to get to your desktop. Right click on your desktop, select Create New | Shortcut. Paste the location "http://" address into the location field, click next, then type the shortcut name, click finish. Click on the shortcut icon from your desktop to access the Standard Login page instantly.


Create Alisa (Shortcut) For MAC

1. Highlight the http: web address you wish to create an alias for.

2. Click on File.

3. Select Make Alias.

4. Drag the Alias to the desktop


You can create an alias to any file or folder on your computer or network. To create an alias in OS X:

1. Control- or right-click a file and select Make Alias

2. Begin dragging an item, then hold down -option. Release the mouse in the location you want to create the alias. Proxy icons (the icon in a window's title bar) can also be dragged this way

3. To show the item that the alias links to:

4. While the alias is selected, go to File > Show Original in the Finder

5. Control- or right-click on the alias and select Show Original

6. From an alias' Get Info dialog, click the Show Original button

7. Select an alias and type -R (for Reveal)
